Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, mother of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn, passed away peacefully in Bangkok at the age of 93.
For more than six decades, Her Majesty was a steadfast companion to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, serving as a guiding maternal figure to the Thai people. Her lifelong devotion to public welfare, education, and cultural preservation remains one of the most enduring legacies of the modern Thai monarchy.
Her Majesty’s body will lie in state at Dusit Thorne Hall in the Grand Palace, with the Royal Family observing a year of mourning.
The Thailand Advisor joins the nation in extending our deepest condolences to the Royal Family and to all who mourn this profound loss.
With our highest respect — we offer a Royal Farewell.
