31 January 2026 · Bangkok.
On Saturday, 31 January 2026, Alliance Française Bangkok will host a black-tie classical concert organised by the Rotary Club of Bangkok Metropolis, in collaboration with Bangkok Accueil. The evening is held in support of iCare Thailand Foundation, which works to protect vulnerable children in Bangkok.
The event sits at the crossroads of culture, diplomacy, and civic engagement — a setting where Bangkok’s international community often convenes quietly, outside formal conferences or public campaigns.
An Evening of Music and Purpose
Guests will be welcomed from 18:00, followed by a classical performance featuring violinist Min Yang and pianist Usa Napawan. For those who wish to continue the evening, an optional charity dinner will take place afterward at Bonjour Bonsoir Restaurant.
The dress code for the evening is black tie / evening gown.
Diplomatic and Civic Attendance
Attendance includes members of Bangkok’s diplomatic corps, senior Rotarians, and representatives from the city’s international and civic networks. Among the guests will be the French Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, alongside Thai dignitaries.
Events of this nature often serve a dual role: supporting a defined cause while reinforcing the personal and institutional relationships that underpin long-term cooperation in the city.
Supporting Child Protection in Bangkok
Proceeds from the concert will support iCare Thailand Foundation, which focuses on child protection, safety, and development. Funds raised contribute to programs that provide safer environments and sustained support for children at risk in Bangkok.
While the setting is formal, the objective is direct: converting attendance and patronage into tangible support for child-focused initiatives.
